Sound Radix is a global team of sound obsessives, inventive coders, and audio engineers, working from studios, bedrooms, and coffee-fueled corners around the world—united by one goal: building intelligent solutions helping sound engineers, producers, and sonic creators achieve their best sound—faster.
It all started back in 2010, when Nir Averbuch, Yair Chuchem, and Dan Raviv came together around a simple idea: that software could tackle some of the trickier parts of audio in smarter, more elegant ways. No outside investors. No grand strategy. Just a small team with a shared obsession for sound, trying to build something genuinely useful—for ourselves and for the community we’re part of.

2010
Auto-Align
For the first time after years of manual alignment and guesswork, Auto-Align let engineers automatically fix phase and time differences in multi-mic recordings. What once took hours could now be done in seconds, making clean, coherent mixes easier than ever.
2011
SurferEQ
SurferEQ introduced the world’s first pitch-tracking EQ plugin. Static filters can’t follow a moving melody, leaving tones uneven across registers. By adapting in real time to pitch, SurferEQ made EQ truly musical, shaping instruments and voices so they sound consistent and natural across the performance.
2012
Pi
Pi was born from our mission to solve a problem no one else dared to tackle: the hidden phase interactions that blur mixes and flatten depth. As the first and only plugin to dynamically optimize phase across an entire project in real time, Pi restores clarity, focus, and mono compatibility.
2013
32 Lives
32 Lives brought beloved 32-bit Mac-only plug-ins back to life in modern 64-bit DAWs. It became an essential tool for countless producers worldwide. As one user put it, “32 Lives saved my entire plugin collection - it was like getting my studio back overnight.”
2014
Drum Leveler
Drum Leveler brings a radical approach to drums’ dynamics control. It helps control ghost notes, tighten performances, and bring consistency to drum tracks without killing the feel. A favorite among engineers for its precision and musicality.

Muteomatic
Muteomatic is our utility plug-in designed to automatically mute talkback channels - no more missed takes or awkward bleed. It’s free, lightweight, and most likely sitting in every post-production or recording studio worldwide. One of those tools you don’t think about - until it’s not there.
2016
SurferEQ 2
SurferEQ 2 expanded the vision of musical EQ with powerful new tools. Morphing filters, side-chain input, and the pioneering Spectral Gate opened creative possibilities, while the core pitch-tracking engine continued to adapt EQ in real time to the performance.
2017
POWAIR

POWAIR came from the challenge of balancing loudness with transparency. It was the first plugin to combine LUFS-based leveling with an adaptive compressor, delivering ultra-fast yet natural dynamics control for voices, instruments, and full mixes alike.

Auto-Align Post
Auto-Align Post brought our phase-alignment technology to the world of post-production. It automatically corrects time and phase differences between mics across entire dialogue tracks - saving hours of manual work in film and TV workflows. Trusted by top dialogue editors to clean up complex multichannel recordings fast and transparently.

We were honored to receive a Technical Emmy® Award from the Television Academy for our contribution to improving sound in television production. The recognition highlighted how Auto-Align Post helps streamline dialogue editing and elevate the overall audio quality of broadcast content.

Auto-Align Post 2 was honored with the prestigious AMPS Award by the Association of Motion Picture Sound for its impact on the craft of sound for picture.
